Professional background

Dr Sykes has been in private practice since 2005 and has been a lecturer and Research Fellow at Griffith University. His professional background includes lecturing at QUT (Business), Griffith University (Psychology) and Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC). Mark’s PhD focused on developing a leading edge treatment for an anxiety disorder (emetophobia). Dr Mark Sykes is the principal psychologist at Gecko House.

Dr Mark Sykes has a presentation on cyber bulling that focuses on the psychological impacts and symptoms of cyber bulling in children.  This presentation is aimed at parents.
