TELEHEALTH PSYCHOLOGY
Getting access to a psychologist if you live in rural or remote parts of Australia can be a challenge. Sometimes your community may have a local psychologist but it is a long drive and it can be difficult to fit everything into a busy day.

Telehealth psychology means that with a valid mental health care plan you can see a psychologist with no gap fees. NDIS clients are able to access mental health with the telehealth arrangement too.
Telehealth is a pretty simple alternative. You organise an appointment time and Dr Mark Sykes will ring you at the arranged time. Simply download the free Zoom app. The appointments are 50 minutes long. For those that work at an office during the day and so you can even have your session in a private place at lunchtime. You can also use a computer or a laptop. If you have poor internet reception then traditional audio phone connection is also available.
